I recently had the opportunity to review a Day Planner-My Planning Journal, as part of the “Write It Down” Series from Journals Unlimited, Inc.  I love it!!  I have been using it since I first received it.  If you are like me, having kids can be hectic. Between household chores, bills, and the kids activities, I am always looks for a way to stay better organized.

This Day Planner has come in extremely handy! I don't think I can do without this one and trust me, I have been through quite a few! LOL:


I love that this Day Planner is hard covered and spiral. I have issues with the day planners that have staples in the middle. Seems like they always fall apart but not this one! I am able to create my daily list and then at the end of the day, close the book and store it away.


You can see, it goes from 7 am to 8:30 pm for the times. By 8:30 at night, we should be all spending time with our family. It has a To do list, errands, and call list in a second column. There are over 200 pages in the book so it will last you for nearly a whole year. The only thing I would like to see on the book, is maybe a strap that would hold the book closed. I am bad about putting my planners in my purse and taking them with me......Bad habit but it is handy when I need to schedule a doctor apt for a future date.

First, let me say this is one big blender. It definitely is worth the money if you want a blender that can do it all from smoothies all the way to soups!



Using 1500 Watts, you can use the pulse setting, or you can blend on one of the three speeds (low/medium/high). The lid seals completely, meaning you will never have a blended mess on your counter. {It has a nifty sealing button to ensure the lid is locked}. The lid also features a convenient flip up cap on the corner for easy, mess-free pouring.



This blender will make some incredibly smooth smoothies. The only thing I am not fond of is the loudness of the machine. It make wake the family, but it is all good when they wake to some wonderfully smooth breakfast smoothies!

My pet looked so comfy in this carrier. This is the perfect thing to carry them in to the vet. They tend to get car sick and this will help to calm them down.

Years ago, my husband caught our daughter on film eating a gobstopper – 15 photos taken over 24 minutes and 10 seconds. The photos were arranged in a book and given to my daughter as a special gift. It was love at first sight. My daughter slept with it, ate with it, took it on road trips. Love-worn and long-admired, the book slowly fell apart, just like the fur on the Velveteen Rabbit.
Our lives are defined by stories – stories of childhood, of triumph, of loss. Even wild stories of the imagination. When a child pretends to be a pirate or a princess or a fairy, she truly believes she has changed, become part of a different world for that moment in time. She has invented a new story of her own.

It is in this world – one of imagination, inspiration and gifts of the heart – in which flattenme was born. We seek not only to spark the imagination of a child, but to take a story which starts as a moment in time – a photograph – and then becomes something entirely new.

So, storytelling first. And then, what? Wonderment and delight is not the sole domain of children. We all have the chance to find magic within ourselves, allowing our own stories to unfold. This is the third book I have received from Flattenme and they have yet to disappoint. I got this book "Blessings for Witt" for a friends of ours child. I wanted him to have something so special that they could cherish.


This book is like all of the others, beautifully designed. The pictures are bright, colorful and actually breathtaking.


The different wildlife with the enchanting settings makes me think of fairy tales. Maybe its that fairytale land that children dream of....Either way, its lovely!


This is a great gift to get your child or grandchild. It makes them feel special to have a book that is all about them. And it is a great family treasure to keep :)

Tess is, in many ways, your typical twentysomething girl. She loves movies, tennis, sushi, her dog Hank and her hometown of Baltimore - and most of all, she loves clothes. For me this is a plus because I have some leggings that I cant wear socks with. These are definitely going to be my go to foot wear for this winter!
