Krystal is spreading cheer by sharing its own family tradition with guests. The restaurant, famous in the South for its small square burgers, has revealed its time-honored Secret Stuffing Recipe with guests by printing it on limited-edition steamer pack boxes. It began before Thanksgiving, but will be available on boxes while supplies last through December 31.

While guests must purchase one steamer pack of 24 Krystals in order to make the recipe, the cook gets an extra treat! Only 20 of the little square burgers are needed for one batch of stuffing, so there are four extra Krystals for the hostess (or host) with the mostest to enjoy for lunch or dinner.

But, just in case you don't make it in time, I have included the recipe below:

Krystal Burger Stuffing:

Ingredients: 20 Krystals, 2 1/4 diced celery, 1 small diced onion, 2 1/4 tsp thyme, 2 1/4 sage, 2 tsp pepper, 1 tsp kosher salt and 1/4 to 3/4 cups chicken broth.

Directions: First, purchase a steamer pack. Be sure to eat 4 while they are piping hot and put the rest in the fridge overnight! Next, tear the burgers into small pieces and place in a bowl with all the seasonings, onion and celery. Be sure to add the chicken broth until it is the proper wetness. Then place in the over on 350 degrees for 45 minutes. (Be sure to cover with foil) Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes to brown the top.
