Upon opening the box, you will find the top is embossed with the Franklin Mint Logo and the collection name. The lid and other fabric have a velvety feel. The collection has a total of 7 coins that are beautiful.
Not only do you get the coins but several other items to complete the set. There is a mini magnifying glass, pair of white gloves, mini copy of the Constitution and a set of cards that describes each coin. The cards give a little background information on each founding father as well.
Now, for the main attraction: The Coins!! They were very hard to photograph but you can see this one is Benjamin Franklin. Each coin is dedicated to one of seven Founding Fathers: George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay and Thomas Jefferson.
Each coin is engraved with their image on one side and a quote on the reverse. Also, the coins are layered in 24 karat gold. Pictures really do not do this set justice!
