The ChordBuddy Jr makes a great gift for kids this holiday season

But before they could use the guitar, we needed to tune the guitar using the guitar tuner. It was very easy to use the guitar tuner that came with the package. We just clipped it on top of the guitar and strum each of the strings until the tuner needle stays in the middle. When the guitar was already in tune, we read the songbook and learned about the Chord Buddy Jr device. It has colored buttons so that is easy for the kids to learn the chords. But there is also a great instructional dvd included which makes learning a lot easier for the kids.
Since Day 1 of having the Chord Buddy Jr, my kids have been strumming it and learning the songs in the songbook. They have even had me searching YouTube for a tutorial on Disney songs that they love.
There has never been a very good way to teach the kids music. Either lessons are to expensive or there is LIFE in general. With the ChordBuddy Jr the kids are learning music at a fraction of the cost! Plus, makes for great family time :)
