Thank you Honeybee for allowing me to review a few of their products. All opinions are my own
Honeybee Gardens was created in 1995 by author and herbalist Melissa J. Hertzler. Years of herbal study prompted Ms. Hertzler to create natural personal care products for her and her family. What began as kitchen cosmetics soon turned into a profitable enterprise. You will find our products in health food stores, pharmacies, on-line stores, herb shops, specialty and gift stores worldwide.
Honeybee Gardens products are created entirely of natural materials. You can actually pronounce our ingredients! We reuse and recycle as much as possible and, perhaps most importantly, we DO NOT test ANY of our products on animals, and are PETA certified. All of our products have also been reviewed by the Environmental Working Group, and all have a score of 2 or lower. We are also Feingold certified.
I was lucky to review their Truly Natural Mascara and Smoking Gun Eyeliner. I am loving both products especially the mascara as it is brown.
The Eyeliner will enhance and define the natural beauty of your eyes with confidence. This smooth, jojoba-based formula won't drag or pull delicate skin. Glides on gently and fluidly from the moment you open it. Easy to apply for a perfect, long-wearing look. My mother loves the eyeliner, (I have tattooed eyeliner so I couldn't use it)
THIS is good stuff. It’s buildable, not clumpy and light feeling. It does takes a few seconds to dry and it pretty sticky until then, but I didn’t have a problem with it after the initial drying process. Nor did it try to smear everywhere before it was entirely dry, for which I am grateful. It doesn’t give super oomph, but that’s part of the reason why it’s so light and gentle.
The end result is very natural looking, with great definition and a silky look.
