Tape On Back-to-School Contest by Scotch Duct Tape

24 July

Big Shout-out to Scotch for sending me a few samples of their patterned tape

Do you have a teen who likes to craft? Crafting with duct tape is fun, and with the wide array of patterns, the projects one can make are endless! Scotch Duct Tape wants to challenge crafty teens to design some fun, back-to-school crafts using duct tape, and is currently running a cool promotion called the "Tape On Back-to-School Contest".

We were lucky to receive a few rolls for the kids to create their own duct tape creations:

You can see we received 4 different designs. Well, my youngest decided they wanted to create a tote bag with one of the rolls:

First, they got a ziplock bag the size they wanted along with safety scissors and a roll of tape. You can see the process is pretty simple. You cover the whole bag in duct tape then create handles. I think it took her around 15 minutes from start to finish.

Scotch Duct Tape is hosting a Back-to-School contest that asks teens to create an original back-to-school craft with duct tape and submit a photo that shows how they’re going back to school in style for a chance to win $1,000. The Tape On Back-to-School contest just launched and lasts until August 18th on the Scotch Facebook page.

Teen Vlogger, Sarai Jones, will be judging the contest and has a created a fun video with locker decorations for inspiration. The contest will include prizes for the top four winners with first place receiving $1000, second place receiving $500 and third and fourth place receiving $250
