My package included a lovely box (which housed the jewelry), and official appraisal certificate, care information, and cleansing products. Just by looking at what came packaged with my pearls, I knew that folks at PearlParadise.com knew their pearls!
I was so happy to have the appraisal certificate for a couple of reasons. First off, it certified that the pearls were indeed real, certified cultured pearls. Secondly, it told me the appraisal value. This pair of earrings in particular, is sold by PearlParadise.com for $200.00. The appraisal value, however, is $215.00. It's good to know how much your 'valuables' are really worth. This also tells me that I need to treat these earrings a bit differently, and store them in a safe place. The certificate is signed, and bears a special seal. It also has an area for me to sign, signifying that I am the owner of these beautiful pearls.
