We source only the world’s very best beans and ingredients. We visit the plantations, buy from the growers, and when necessary work with them to improve their skill in properly growing, fermenting and drying the cacao beans to meet our exacting standards.
Through working with small, carefully controlled batches and lots of love and attention, we seek not to be the largest chocolate company, simply to make the very best chocolate humanly — or heavenly — possible.
Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to sample some of their chocolate and it is delicious!
I received 6 bars to sample:
Ocumare Handcrafted Dark Chocolate: This chocolate is hand-crafted from the finest Venzuelan Ocumare Valley Beans. It has notes of Caramel, Roasted Nuts and Precious Woods. I, myself, am not a dark chocolate fan. But, this has a nice blend of the Caramel and Nuts.
Morobe Handcrafted Dark Chocolate: Amano uses only the finest Papau New Guinea Beans to created this heavenly dark chocolate. It has notes of Smoke, Red Grapefruit, Lime & Tart Berry.
Chuao Reserve Dark Chocolate: Made from the finest Venezualan criollo beans. This chocolate bar has notes of Blueberry, Toasted Hazelnut, and Fine Coffee.
Dos Rios Handcrafted Dark Chocolate: This bar is handcrafted from rare Dominican Republic Beans. Has tasting notes of Blueberry and Bergamont.
Madagascar Handcrafted Dark Chocolate: Using the finest Madagascar beans, this lovely bar has tasting notes of Raisins, Balsamic Vinegar and Red Fruits (Raspberry and Strawberry)
Ocumare Handcrafted Milk Chocolate: This is great milk chocolate. It has more of a fresh cream taste but notes of caramel.
