This month, I received the “Mad About Malibu” box – I didn’t pick this, but I think it was a new release.


Avalon by Cult ($12) – I love love LOVE this!  This is a really pretty coral, but it’s a bit more muted than most – I would describe it as a baby pink coral, if that makes sense.  It’s supposedly inspired by the Hollywood DJ techno scene

PCH by Cult ($12) – This is inspired by “the perfect day of an ocean-side drive up the PCH” – I used my brilliant reasoning powers and deduced PCH stands for Pacific Coast Highway.  This is a green/teal shimmer, and I really like this one as well.


Eye Shadow Palette by BH Cosmetics ($6.95) – I like that they included a makeup item, and a palette at that! This palette has 16 eye shadows and 4 face powders – the shadows are a little “crazier” than what I normally wear (which is super boring brown/tan/beige), but if I figured out some ways to wear this I think it would be fun to branch out!



 But, once I did a swatch of each color, I realized that only the blues were bright. So, I can see me utilizing this whole palette this summer.
