Our Story

Who are we? We are a group of cosmetics-crazed science geeks from MIT who bought into the whole eyelash extension craze and after a long, drawn-out love-hate relationship, wanted out.

Eyelash extensions are all the rage--and understandably--who wouldn't want the problem of "its so annoying, my lashes are so long they brush my glasses" *flips hair*? Well, then again, the upkeep is annoying.. and expensive. Then we realized, its not only expensive, annoying and occasionally embarrassing (you know, between fills?..eek) but it's also dangerous. If your aesthetician doesn't apply the lashes correctly, you can grow fungus thanks to that insoluble eyelash extension glue. Yeah--talk about gross.

So we tried a slew of other products on the market to achieve that same lashes-to-the-glasses effect, but guess what? Lash growth products are expensive. More importantly--most of them don't even work. Well, for us, none of them worked. So we put our heads together and started researching what makes those lashes grow anyway. We wanted an all-natural formula so that we wouldn't be afraid to test it on ourselves. A few iterations later, we had a product.

We tested the product and got great results. What was interesting to us, though, was that while 4 out of 5 of the participants had lashes that were 10-20% longer, 100% of them really experienced fuller lashes. A common complaint from our competitors' users was that their lashes grew longer but they still had sparse lashes. We decided to try the stuff out on our eyebrows too because, hey, we were still paying for our twelve year-old selves' mistakes (when we went loose with the tweezers? Where were our moms..) 

All in all, we had developed a hypoallergenic formula that: a). was made with the finest all natural ingredients, b). could make your eyelashes longer, c). could grow more lashes and d). could regrow your eyebrows. Sounds pretty cool to us. So instead of keeping this cool secret to ourselves and our friends, we decided to share it with you. We bring to you: Wink.


I started using it that night, and have used it religiously every night since. The site claims that a 5ml tube, as seen above, has enough product for 3 months of application on either eyebrows or eyelashes.

I have been applying it right before bed on both my upper and lower lashes after washing off all my makeup.  It's pretty fool-proof when it comes to application - it has a applicator like a felt tip eyeliner that you glide along your upper/lower lashline (or eyebrows, if that's what you're into). Thank hevans for that applicator! It just takes two seconds to apply and virtually no hand-eye coordination.

Now, I haven't seen any new growth as of yet but have noticed that my lashes are stronger. I am going to upload photos a month in, so let's see how this works!!
