Our Company History
Eagle Creek was born in the San Jacinto Mountains of California where Steve and Nona Barker ran a retail store called Mountain People. In 1975, they decided to put their energy full-time into pack manufacturing and began with a 1500 square foot warehouse in Solana Beach, California.

Since the beginning, innovation, durability and craftsmanship have been an integral part of the brand's DNA. Today, Eagle Creek offers a full spectrum of travel solutions and can outfit any traveler for any adventure with our 4-step Travel System.

Recently I had the great opportunity to review 2 items from Eagle Creek:

Relax and enjoy your trip with these lightweight packing organizers. The Pack-It™ Starter Set will help you organize and compress the contents of your travel bag. Finally, everything you need is right where you want it.

The color is a little off as the product is more of a darker blue and the center is a actual see-through mesh which I like better.  It allows me to see what I have in each bag. This set consists of 3 bags:

  • Pack-It™ Folder Medium----which will hold up to 12 shirts or pants folded
  • Pack-It™ Cube----roomy enough to hold all of my families undergarments for traveling
  • Pack-It™ Half Cube---perfect to keep books and items to keep the kids entertained while traveling

  • Eagle Creek also let me review the:

    Pack-It Specter Cube Set:
Ultra lightweight packing organization. Three silnylon cubes that weigh less than 2.2 oz cumulatively, so that you can keep your clothing organized without worrying about weight. This translucent fabric is the same fabric used for lightweight tents and backpacks, it is super-durable, and stain and water-resistant.

    Best uses
    •  Backpacking (because they are so light, weight isn’t an issue)
    •  Camping in general
    • Any sort of travel where you are trying to stay organized
    • Quick trips to the pool or lake.

The Pack-It Specter Cube Set is a great way to keep organized without dealing with any extra weight at all. I use ours as we pack for adventures and find them especially useful for trips where I know we are going to get dirty. They are easy to keep clean (just wipe off) and dry incredibly quickly on their own.
