Welcome To Chad's Carolina Corn
Chad's Carolina Corn is a family business based in Greenboro, NC with one singular purpose: make the best popcorn in the world!
After working in the technology sector for many years Chad decided it was time for a change. He wanted to start a business that would allow him to spend more time with his family, and have them be a part of what he is doing. The answer slowly came into focus: start a gourmet popcorn company.
Having been a long time popcorn addict, it made sense to do what you love. So Chad began a transformation into the Popcorn Czar. Committed to making great popcorn, and not forgetting to have fun along the way. Come along on the journey with Chad and enjoy the ride.
Recently, I had the lovely opportunity to try out several flavors of Chad's Carolina Corn and I am glad that I took pictures before as they didn't last long:After working in the technology sector for many years Chad decided it was time for a change. I started out by opening the bag of Caramel Corn and began tasting. Everyone knows how much I love caramel popcorn and Chad’s was very good. Each piece of popcorn was lightly coated with caramel and it had a great balance between sweet and salty. It was one of my favorites and it was the first bag to be emptied. I think I ate about half the bag before closing it up and moving on to the next flavor, Buffalo Wing. It tasted just like Buffalo wings which was my husbands favorite. It was also the spiciest of all the flavors. Jalapeno Cheddar, Salt and Vinegar, and White Cheddar were some of my other favorites. The only flavor that I didn’t care for was the Dark Chocolate. It really didn’t have much of a dark chocolate flavor but made me think more of coffee. (This was my mothers favorite!)
All of Chad’s Carolina Corn was fresh and crunchy. And, I really liked that the bags could be re-sealed. It kept the popcorn crunchy and I was able to enjoy it for a very long time.
