This is the Landjaeger. It is a semi-dried sausage traditionally made in Southern Germany, Austria,
Switzerland, and Alsace. Underground Meats has perfected this traditional hunters meat
snack. This modern version features notes of smoke, black pepper and aromatic caraway.
My husband really enjoyed this. He said it tasted like a over-grown slim jim!
This is Goat Salami. It is made with Heritage Bread "male goats" which is significant because they have little function to the farmer except for breeding.
This has to be an acquired taste because it had a real bitter taste.
This is Peperone which is Tamworth bore instead of beef.
Once you cook it, the taste is ok but again, my family could not acquire the taste.
This is Nduja. This I a spicy, spreadable salami, originating from Calabria.
It's a spicy salami spread rich with roasted hot peppers and wine.
My neighbor loved this spread! He took it home and was going to have it for snack!
