About Safari Ltd:
The founders of Safari Ltd started creating toys in 1982. In 1986, they signed the most important license agreement in the company's history with the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. This license allowed them to produce authentic, scale-model dinosaur figures with the collaboration of their paleontologists. 20+ years later, children, adult collectors and educators worldwide enjoy purchasing these unique replicas.
Whether it's for collecting or for play, most of us prefer our replica figures
to actually look like the real thing. Many companies fall short when creating
realistic figures, and tend to produce products that are not eye-catching by
using dull colors and lack in details. Safari td is a company that brings the realism and they also find it important to provide safe products for our
children too!
My son owns several Safari pieces that we have picked up over the years. I love how the toys bring his imagination to life. Recently, I was able to review the Thunder Dragon with Drake Set:
You can see from all the pictures that Safari makes each figure unique and realistic. Safari researches the anatomy of each animal to ensure they are as life-like as possible. Also, no two figures are alike. Each figure is hand-painted with sometimes up to 20 different steps. For me, besides helping to grow my child's imagination, I love that the figures are safe for my child. I used to have a problem with him breaking the arms and legs off his toys. The Safari brand is built so well, he has not broken one yet! Which for me is a $$$ saver.
