Peacock Parfumerie, an artisan perfume jewelry house, announces its new line of products, including perfume pendant necklaces, perfume oils and scented candles inspired by art nouveau glamour and bohemian romance.

Peacock Parfumeries signature product is a vintage-inspired perfume pendant necklace that holds a small amount of Peacock Parfumerie perfume. The necklace is an updated version of traditional perfume jewelry worn by women throughout the centuries. The top of the necklace unscrews and the perfume oil can be poured into the opening. The chain measures 20 long with a 3 extender. The crystal pendant is approximately 1.5 long. Each necklace includes a gold organza gift bag, funnel for filling and instructions.

In medieval times it was common for the upper class to carry perfume with them in order to discourage disagreeable smells. The custom continued in the Victorian age, as a way for a lady to refresh her fragrance throughout the day. The jewelry also served as a discreet way to decoratively store smelling salts. In the 20th century, free spirited women who rode bicycles and danced the Charleston were able to stay fresh smelling as they exerted themselves.

Peacock Parfumerie brings fragrance to the consumer in the following six scents with its perfume oils and candles. All fragrances are concentrated blends of essential oils and precious perfume accords in a base of natural coconut oil.

Allure: A sensual blend of mandarin and caramel with notes of lavender, birchwood, and rose.
Daydream: Soft calming notes of amber, lavender and vanilla.
Grace: An elegant and feminine blend of mandarin, rose, and vanilla with fruity notes.
Hope: An uplifting blend of violet, rose and vetiver.
Morning: A rejuvenating blend of water lily and melon.
Uplift: An inspiring blend of bergamot and spearmint over plum, black tea and cedarwood.

The perfume pendant retails for $37, the perfume oil is $22 for 1/2 oz., and the candles, which are hand-produced with a paraffin and soy wax blend, are $25 with a burn time of 75 hours. Peacock Parfumerie products are available online and at select retailers nationwide, such as Anthropologie.
