I was absolutely thrilled when I granted the chance to do a review for NOVICA. Having seen several of their reviews and giveaways around the blogosphere, I am intrigued with their amazing and unique handcrafted products!
In case you have not heard about it, NOVICA is one of the leading fair trade artisan websites, working with National Geographic to give talented artisans around the world a place to express their artistic talents and provide access to the world market. You will find thousands of top fair trade corporate gifts, accessories, jewelry, apparel and home decoration items on their website.
With a gift certificate from NOVICA, I started the task of trying to decide what I wanted being they have tons of stuff like:
So, after searching for awhile, and I mean awhile, I decided on a few items:
I feel in love with the looks of these Aluminum repousse coasters, 'Elephants Roaming Octagons' (set of 6). Elephants happily roam Thai forests in the repoussé panels that adorn these octagonal coasters from Tawee. Detailed with admirable precision, the aluminum panels adorn six wood coasters and their holder. These will look perfect in my living room on the end table. I love the way the wood and the aluminum flow together perfectly.
The next item that I could not live without is:
I love bracelets and a bracelet that looks like this fits right up my alley. The beaded wristband bracelets, 'Coins of Harmony' come in a pair. Thai designer Tiraphan Hasub conjures mystical elegance with the design of these crocheted bracelets. She works with brass replicas of the legendary Chinese coin, believed to bring wealth and success according to Feng Shui practices. The bracelet's colorful threads are centered by green, symbol of health, harmony and nature. Hasub includes rain tree wood and glass beads for the bracelets' clasps.
As you can see they have a item for anyone on your Christmas list or something for that arm chair traveler in your family. Their prices are affordable and are sure to please.
