ASTIG PREMIUM JERKY (APJ) was founded in August 2012 by owner Michael J Robin. Astig Jerky is believed to be the first and only gourmet beef jerky made with traditional Filipino recipes sold in the US.

Processed and produced in a USDA approved manufacturing facility, our meat is 100% derived from grain-fed cattle and contains no artificial enhancements. The meat is cut fresh and marinated in traditional Philippine ingredients.

The marinade recipes were created and perfected by Michael J Robin to produce unique jerky flavors that are as authentic and traditional as the Filipino home cooked meals.


Traditional Philippine Tocino...with a kick! We took the original recipe that blends Pineapple, Banana Ketchup, Brown Sugar, Lemon-Lime, and added a kick of spice. Now this didn't have a kick at all. Actually, there was no spice that we could taste. It is a little chewy but overall good.


Our flagship recipe and probably the most recognized and popular flavor from the Philippines. Combining Soy Sauce, Cane Vinegar, Garlic and Cracked Peppercorn to traditional perfection that will amaze your taste buds. Now this one has a kick to it which is what I like in my jerky. It was a little chewy like the other bag but its all good!



Overall, it is good jerky and being its has No Additives, No Sodium Nitrite, No Preservatives or MSG added, Less Sodium than most leading jerky brands, and are Tender strips, Whole meat beef!
